About Deanna
Deanna is a well known rising percussionist from Headford, Galway. Being a former Irish dancer, she has a passion for rhythm and beats. Taught by Drumadores Éimhín she has been playing drums since she was 13. She also plays bodhrán and was taught by Caherlistrane's much respected Eric Cunningham.

Deanna has completed her Grade 8 Trinity of London drum kit exam and is continuing on to do her diploma in the near future. She just completed an honours BA in World Music in the Irish World Academy in the University of Limerick.

Her teaching career began in 2017 with Drumadore. Deanna has been an active performer in both the Macnas parade and the Connacht Rugby home games in previous years. She has also been a part of many groups, ensembles, and orchestras conducted by the Berrill’s at Headford Musicworks throughout the years. Deanna is currently part of a trio band called Third Inversion and an originals five-piece band called Ignition.
